Most frequent questions and answers
In our B&B we want to contribute as much as possible to a healthy environment and to live as sustainably as possible. We have already started with solar panels on the roof and are sparing with water. You too can make a contribution by using gas, water and electricity sparingly as possible of course.
The heating goes with the air conditioning. You turn it on with on/off. For heating you must set the sun symbol. If the room is warm, you can turn it off again. Also for the winter months there is a winter duvet, to keep you extra toasty.
If you want to use the air conditioning for cold air to get the heat out of the B&B, then you choose the symbol with a snowflake. If the room is cold, you can turn it off again.
We ask our guest to use it sparingly and always take it off you are not present. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
Terms and Conditions
We warmly welcome you to B&B Berglust in Rotterdam and ask you to inform yourself of these general terms and conditions.
By entering into a reservation made, these general terms and conditions come into force.
Chief guest.
The person who has booked with B&B Berglust by means of a contact form, e-mail or via telephone contact.
The main guest must be 18 years or older and is responsible for his or her fellow guests and must have a permanent place of residence or residence.
Administrator.
The person who manages the Bed & Breakfast as the owner of B&B Berglust or on behalf of the owner of B&B Berglust.
Third parties.
Any other legal entity that is not a guest, administrator, or owner.

Privacy in B&B
Your privacy is very important to us, we find it very important that our guests feel completely at home in our B&B.
I think it is important that the guests feel at home and feel at ease. They have their own entrance and their own conservatory, where they can sit without seeing us. If they open the door of the observatory, they can see the garden and occasionally meet us. If they need to have a conversation, I am always open to this, but it is certainly not my intention to impose this. The contact therefore mainly runs via Whatsapp, SMS or email.
The B&B has a private bathroom with shower, sink with hot & cold running water and toilet. The use of linen is also included. In addition, there is a conservatory that you can use.
Basic amenities
The amenities we provide are a service we find very important to the safety and comfort for our guests.
The B&B is provided with a double bed, and sofa bed, a small kitchen with a stove, recycled tableware, cutlery, and cooking utensils. In addition there’s a combi oven/microwave.
The B&Bis suitable for a maximum of 2 persons and has a toilet and shower combination, which has recently been renovated. All comfort has been thought of to offer you an optimal stay:
- Coffee
- Herbal tea and fresh ginger
- Milk
- Sugar
- Salt and pepper
- Olive oil
- Bed linen
- Plenty of towels
- Shower, soap, and shampoo
- Washing Detergent
- Hand soap
- Baby bed and child seat (on request)
Cancellation
The revocation or dissolution of the final reservation within the applicable period. You must take care of a cancellation and / or travel insurance yourself.
When a final reservation for the B&B Berglust has been made and confirmed, the following applies to cancellation of that reservation:
- Free cancellation up to 4 weeks before
- Four weeks before arrival full refund of the entire invoice (minus 30 euros administration costs)
- Two weeks before arrival, 50% refund of the entire invoice
- Within five days before arrival 100% of the invoice, no refund.
- In order to be eligible for a refund of the amount paid, you must inform us of the cancellation as soon as possible by e-mail or telephone.
- After consultation, the agreed amount will be transferred to you as soon as possible, but no later than within 21 days. In case of early departure, no refund will take place, cancellation costs are also due if you do not show up.
- If you have made a booking with a discount code, the booking must be paid within 5 days and you can no longer cancel the booking. You are not entitled to a refund.
- B&B Berglust can only terminate the reservation agreement in the following cases:
In case of force majeure, natural disaster, extraordinary weather conditions, fire, death of the owners or family, hospitalization or unannounced sale.
In one of these cases, the owner will send the guest an alternative offer as soon as possible.
If this is not possible or the guest does not accept the offered alternative, a refund of the full amount will take place. Any other damage as a result of the cancellation will not be compensated by the owner.
