Rotterdam offers plenty of activities for those seeking a relaxing getaway. Transport to & from B&B
Public transport to and from Rotterdam The Hague Airport
Google Maps shows several options. The travel time is approximately 45 minutes.
bus 33, then walk, then bus 174, walk (go north, cross the road and enter Berglustlaan).
bus 33, tram 125, then walk (go north, cross the road and enter Berglustlaan).
bus 33, then walk, then bus 174, tram 4, then walk (go north, cross the road and enter Berglustlaan).
An Uber ride costs approximately €55.
The ride takes about 10 minutes.
Public transport to and from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport
Take the train to Rotterdam Central Station, then tram 4 towards Molenlaan, get off at tram stop “CNA Looslaan”, and walk (go north, cross the road and enter Berglustlaan).
Public transport from the B&B to the city
From the B&B, you can easily and quickly travel to the centre of Rotterdam by public transport.
Walk out of the B&B, turn left, and at the end of the street turn right. After a few meters you will reach the tram stop for line 4.
Tram 4 takes you to Rotterdam Central Station and the city centre, stop at the Weena.
If you would like to explore the area first, you can also get off at Kleiweg*. There you will find nice cafés and restaurants for a delicious breakfast or a good cup of coffee. You can also browse various small and surprising shops.
Bike rental
From the B&B, there is a bike rental company I can recommend.
Zwaan Bikes Rotterdam
Take tram 4 from our B&B to Central Station (the stop is on Straatweg and is a 5-minute walk away).
When you arrive at Central Station, it is a 5-minute walk to ZwaanBikes.
(Walk to the large pedestrian crossing and turn right. This is Weena, and ZwaanBikes is located at Weena 750.)
Shared transport
The only downside is that the bike rental mentioned above is not nearby. Nowadays, there are two HUB locations in our street where you can rent various forms of transport, such as an e-bike, cargo bike, or scooter.
