Welcome to B&B Berglust
I am pleased to announce my first blog post. From now on, I try to write a new post every last Friday of the month. Whether you’re looking for inspiration for a romantic weekend getaway or tips on how to plan a romantic outing with your partner, this blog will offer you plenty of ideas and insights.
We are Lonneke and Duco, and we never imagined we would ever own a house with a B&B. But in June 2022, we became the proud owners of B&B Berglust, the perfect place for a romantic weekend away in Rotterdam.
We completely renovated the house and gave it our own personal touch. The first guests arrived on July 22nd, 2022, and they were immediately very enthusiastic.
Personally, I never thought I would enjoy it so much. I love making people happy, taking care of them, and meeting new people. If you’re looking for a cozy retreat with a special atmosphere, B&B Berglust is the ideal spot for your next romantic getaway.
Besides spending time with my family and managing the B&B, I also teach cooking lessons with great pleasure at the Rudolf Steiner College in Rotterdam. In my spare time, I enjoy going on trips with my family in our camper, always looking for new places to explore. Whether it’s a short break or a longer stay, we love discovering beautiful destinations in the Netherlands across Europe.
